While not as good as it's predecessor, this is still a worthy addition to the DC Animated Universe.ġ. The New Batman Adventures premiered on Kids' WB just two years after Batman: The Animated Series ended its original run on Fox Kids. A couple of the new villains like Farmer Brown and Klarion are pretty weak. There are a couple of episodes that were pretty mediocre.Ĥ. The new designs for Joker, Riddler, and a few others were pretty off.ģ. Freeze's return feels forced as his story ended perfectly in Subzero.Ģ. Riddler is only given a few minor appearances, and Mr. The animation is still very well done and most of the new designs and backgrounds are spectacular.ġ. The voice acting is still absolutely amazing.ġ2. Once again, the comedy is very well done and fitting.ġ1. It still has the well balanced tone of it's predecessor.ġ0. The action scenes are still pretty intense.ħ. It still has the original series' blend of action, comedy, drama, mystery, and suspense.Ħ. Pretty decent guest appearances from Supergirl, Livewire, Etrigan the Demon, and the Creeper.ĥ. Freeze, Poison Ivy, Bane, Scarecrow, Clayface, Ventriloquist/Scarface, Mad Hatter, Killer Croc, and Baby-Doll are all still good villains, and Firefly, Calendar Girl, the Judge, and Roxy Rocket are all great new villains.Ĥ. Joker, Harley, Penguin, Catwoman, Two-Face, Mr. Alfred, Jim, Bullock, and Montoya are all still good supporting characters.ģ. Bruce/Batman, Tim/Robin, Barbara/Batgirl, and Dick/Nightwing are all great protagonists.Ģ. Freeze, Poison Ivy, Bane, Scarecrow, Clayface, Ventriloquist, Mad Hatter, Killer Croc, Baby-Doll, Firefly, Calendar Girl, the Judge, Roxy Rocket, and more.ġ. Now with a larger team, Batman faces up against super-villains both old and new such as the Joker, Harley Quinn, Penguin, Catwoman, Riddler, Two-Face, Mr. And on top of that, Dick returns to Gotham under the new mantle of Nightwing. During one of his patrols, Batman encounters a young boy named Tim Drake, and impressed with his many skills, recruits him as the new Robin. He still has assistance from Alfred, Jim Gordon and the GCPD, and Barbara Gordon/Batgirl, but Dick Grayson/Robin had left some time ago. The series follows Bruce Wayne/Batman as he continue his war on crime in Gotham City. Lets continue the DC Animated Universe with the sequel series to the highly acclaimed Batman: The Animated Series.
